Relay Mode
Help find lost pets with no account and zero effort.
Relay mode is for people with no pet who still want to help - and it is what makes The Mesh Network grow.
How it works
First app start offers a choice: "I have pets" or "Just help find lost pets". Choosing the second needs no account, no email, no login. One screen appears: the Background Tag Watch switch and an explanation. Switch on, put the phone away, done - the phone now quietly relays any pet tag it passes, anonymously.
Nothing ever shows on the helper's phone: no alerts, no pet details, nothing to manage. The helper is a random code in the system, nothing more.
Becoming an owner later
"Register your pets" switches to the full Pet Owner experience with one tap - nothing to migrate, because relay mode stores nothing about you.
