Alerts and Notifications

Every way the platform reaches an owner, and when.

All alerts arrive on two channels at once: push notification to the app and email. Nothing needs the app to be open.

The alert catalogue

  • Sighting report - a person reported seeing your lost pet, with photo and contact if given.
  • Mesh sighting - a phone heard your lost pet's tag; position attached. At most one per fifteen minutes.
  • Home Zone: left home - the tag was heard outside your Home Zone by someone other than you.
  • Home Zone: auto-marked lost - the breach persisted; the pet is now formally lost.
  • Home Zone: not heard at home - the base station has not heard the tag for half an hour.
  • Base station offline - your station phone stopped reporting; fix it before trusting silence.
  • Partner workflow - application approved, staff invitations, warden assignment (for Partner Console users).
  • Account - password reset links, sign-up welcome.

Quiet by design

Nothing alerts while a pet is safely inside its zone; walks with your own phone are silent; every alert type carries its own cooldown so one event never becomes thirty notifications.
