Finders and the Public

Found or spotted a pet? No app needed.

Most people who encounter a lost pet do not have the app. Everything they need works in a plain browser:

  • Scan the collar QR code - it opens the pet's page: is it lost, and a safe way to reach the owner without exposing anyone's phone number or address.
  • Report a sighting - photo, location, optional contact details; the owner is notified instantly. No account required.
  • The public map - every currently lost pet nearby, each with a poster page for sharing to community groups.

After reporting, a finder is invited to install the app in Relay Mode - every finder can become permanent coverage.
